G Williams & Sons have been established as memorial masons and stonemasons in the Bath area for over 70 years and have built a reputation for high quality memorials, professional memorial restoration, custom made kitchen worktops and beautifully designed stonework commissions.
A Family Business
A family business started in the 1930s, G Williams & Sons has been developed and expanded by several generations of the Williams family.
The main core of the business has always been memorial masonry and in recent years we have successfully applied our specialist stonemasonry skills to the manufacture of custom built granite kitchen worktops, as well as carved stone and marble fireplaces and bespoke stonework commissions.
We have produced many prestigious commissions including the large carved stone crests at the entrances to Bath University, as well as numerous commemoration plaques such as the large obelisk lettered in 22 different languages for the Bible Society building in Swindon, which was unveiled by the Queen Mother in 1986.
Bristol & West Memorials
Our sister company Bristol & West Memorials, based in Kingswood, Bristol provides these services to customers in and around Bristol and has established close links with the local cemeteries and crematoriums in Bristol and surrounding areas.
